Climate Action through Community-Based Waste Management: Evidence on Hidden Non-Compliance and Behavioral Change in Indonesia

Fokus Penelitian

My research focuses on household waste behavior and community-based climate action in Indonesia. Through my doctoral dissertation, I studied Waste Bank programs under Indonesia’s Climate Villages (Proklim), examining hidden illegal dumping, behavioral interventions to improve recyclable waste deposits, and the persistence of pro-environmental behavior after the interventions ended.
