Hiroshima, November 2nd, 2025 — The Indonesian Student Association of Japan in Hiroshima (PPI Hiroshima) once again achieved a remarkable milestone at the 2025 I-House Festival, proudly retaining its championship title for the second year in a row. ๐ฎ๐ฉ
PPI Hiroshima captivated festival visitors with vibrant cultural performances and the authentic taste of Indonesia, creating a lively atmosphere that showcased the warmth and diversity of Indonesian culture.
This year’s culinary highlight, Indonesian Chicken Noodles (Mie Ayam), earned the title of “Most Favorite Dish”, delighting the Hiroshima community with a comforting and flavorful taste of home-cooked Indonesian cuisine. ๐
Beyond the culinary success, Indonesian students also excelled in individual competitions.
Nadila Maghfirah won the Japanese Singing Competition ๐ค, performing the heartfelt song “Mirai e” by Kiroro, which touched the audience with its message of hope and friendship.
Mohammad Adrian Arsyad triumphed in the Japanese Speech Contest ๐ฃ๏ธ, delivering a compelling speech titled “I Love Hiroshima, Japan”, expressing his admiration for the city’s harmony, peace, and community spirit.
“These achievements reflect the unity, creativity, and dedication of our members. Through culture and performance, we aim to strengthen mutual understanding and bring Indonesia closer to Japan,” said a representative of PPI Hiroshima.
PPI Hiroshima extends heartfelt gratitude to all organizers, participants, and supporters who made this success possible. This double victory once again highlights the association’s commitment to promoting cross-cultural friendship and celebrating Indonesia’s positive spirit in Hiroshima.
